Discover the enchanting Ashmead Fishery, a truly unique and breath-taking 17-acre wetland in Somerset, where you can immerse yourself in nature and possibly land the carp of your dreams.

Ashmead is a watery labyrinth brimming with channels, gullies, and bays thanks to an abundance of islands, and is nothing short of majestic. It is estimated to hold over 150 carp with a significant proportion of carp to be over 30lb, and the current lake record a mirror last caught just shy of 50lb, promising an unforgettable fishing experience.

Available to 40 anglers per syndicate, you can select between a weekday or weekend rota permit for the Spring/Summer season which runs from March to November or opt for the Winter syndicate that operates from November to February each year. 

Due to recent changes, we now have a unique opportunity to fill the last few remaining spots in the midweek syndicate, as well as opening the waitlist for both the Winter Syndicate and the 2026 syndicate spaces.
